The body carries it.  Astrology maps it.  You experience it.

I work with bodies and astrology.

The body is the ecosystem of our experience.  It tells our story:

it holds our memories, keeps us present, and carries us into our future.

Astrology maps the ecosystem that shapes us, what we live within

and emerged from.

Both are where energy meets awareness through experience.

The Approach

The body remembers our experiences – our reactions to fear, shame, anger, pleasure, joy, union – and the experiences of those that came before us – our ancestry, lineage, home and culture.

Our experiences in life are met with contraction (where energy can get stuck, held, blocked) or expansion (where energy flows).  With the contraction of energy, it continues to live in our bodies, in our energy, until we open ourselves and the greater movement of life releases us into flow.  This contracted energy is often called trauma and wounding - something we might ignore or fixate on, a problem to solve.

But what if we are already whole?  What happens when we accept our experiences as they are instead of building our identities out of them?  What if we sit with the discomfort kindly enough that it transmutes to insight and wisdom?

Like an instrument, we attune ourselves.   Living is a process of attunement.  Sometimes we forget that we can choose what we attune ourselves to.

And like an instrument, we are designed for play.  So lets not take it all too seriously.

Truth in Resonance

When truth lands, the resonance in our body is unequivocal.

At its most formidable, it pierces our heart, it penetrates our mind, it permeates with knowing.

It moves us.

If we are energetically out of alignment and disconnected from our bodies, if we are trapped in our own narratives, our ability to receive and perceive these moments is diminished.

And it's these moments that reveal the truth of who we are.

Not the dogmatic ‘truth’ that many throughout the ages have claimed to possess, but the

truth in that moment.

The purpose of my work is to support people in their attunement so they

recognise the experience of truth moving in their body.

The Work

We recognise truth through resonance.  To feel it we must be connected to our bodies, to have the courage and vulnerability to open to possibility and to discern between the sensation of trauma / wound-based reactions and the vibration of truth.

From this state of alignment we can respond to the divine play of life as who we are, not what we have learnt to become.

We emerge into our bodies out of the long line that came before us - our ancestry - carrying energetic imprints of our lineage and the greater cosmic forces.  Our bodies shape through polarity – through blockage and flow, contraction and expansion, pain and pleasure. The stars tell the bigger story of our interdependent interconnection, decoded through the astrological language of symbols developed over thousands of years of observation and pattern recognition.

Knowing yourself is not the story you’ve constructed but being present to what arises, attuned with awareness, intentionality and honesty. Experiences reveal truth because they show who we are through how we express at that moment we come into contact with the eros of life.

The work is to invite experiences that shift your energetic field and deepen understanding of yourself relationally.  In relation to yourself, your body, your lineage, friends, family, partner(s), community, nature and the rest of existence.  We are, afterall, creatures in the constant dance of relating.

The Experience

I work with the path of touch and the way of the stars - an alchemy of modalities separate or combined.

A Container - This journey works best when we commit to depth.  Together we shape a container that holds both in-person and online sessions over an initial 6week period, creating a mixture of bodywork and astrology that suits your needs and what you are willing to invest.

Alternatively, for new clients and people called to one modality, one-off sessions are available.

Path of Touch – Our bodies are the physical expression for spirit and energy. Bodywork supports transformation, healing and expansion because it reveals our energetic truths when we open to vulnerability.

Templework explores ancient practises that understand the inseparable nature of sexuality and spirituality - the intentional connection to lifeforce energy.

Traditional Māori bodywork works with the support of our ancestors for deep energetic release and grounding.

Way of Stars - Astrology helps reveal our predispositions, ancestral/karmic inheritance and destiny, simultaneously exposing the narratives that contain us and the divine intelligence that guides us.  It provides a cognitive process of connecting the dots to understand ourselves and, in turn, connect better with others.

About Me

Ko Aotea te waka

Ko Taranaki te maunga

Ko Wainongoro te awa

Ko Ngaruahine raua ko Ngati Aerihi te iwi

Ko Kimberley ahau

My name is Kimberley and I am Ngaruahine, descending from Taranaki maunga (in Aotearoa New Zealand), through my father and over the waters from Eire (Ireland) through my mother.  Life called me into exploration of energy, embodiment and the esoteric, recognising the common threads between many different indigenous, spiritual and mystic practices.  I am deeply grateful to those who have supported my own healing journey: human, plant and spirit.

I encourage clients to dissolve the narratives that limit them, yet here I am sharing fragments of events from my life so that maybe you can gain glimpses of who I am through the story I write...  Holding paradox is one of the arts I love most.

My life is marked by transformation and existential inquiry.  Courtesy of my strong Scorpio and Sagittarius stelliums, since I can remember I was asking “why are we here, what does this all mean”.  In my younger years, my search for meaning took an intense and wild form of work hard, play hard, and in my late 20s I broke hard.  Whether you call it burn out, existential crisis or Saturn return, it was undoubtedly a reckoning that I was not living in attunement but reacting to life out of the painful parts I was too ashamed to expose, even to myself.  It transpired to be a profoundly beautiful portal – it taught me to ask for and receive support, something I was known for never doing – an initiation into community and coherence.  I realised I didn’t need to figure out why I am here – I am here – so why not do something good with it?  I left the storytelling industry and spent the next decade in social justice – years in conflict zones, humanitarian crises, supporting people at the knife’s edge of the systems we have built – where the driving narrative evolved from helping provide simple access to emergency medical care into trying to counteract, subvert or ‘fix’ our systemic issues.  That was until - after my second “burn out” (clearly a slow learner) - I really started to question even more deeply what ‘good’ really means.

As I responded to life’s call to shed another skin, to rebuild my relationship to my own body and how I use my lifeforce energy, it became increasingly clear that what helped me at that time – ‘you don’t need to know why you’re here’ – was not serving anymore.  In fact the opposite – exploring the depths, the existential and the unseen feels precisely what I’m here to do.  Since then, I have immersed myself in the adventure, intensity and beauty of play with the mystery, meeting what arises, learning from resonance and flow.  And life provided a plethora of experiences to learn through many conduits  – teachers as plants, people, philosophies, channels, moments, intuitions, thoughts – and continues to.

And that is how I arrived here and to my understanding of why I do this.  My presence is as a conduit for energy to move.   What moves depends on our openness to receive and desire to meet life as it arises, as it is.
